On the first evening, you watch Chefchaouen turn midnight blue from the Spanish Mosque, the Rif valley at your feet. The next day you walk through Bab Boujloud and the noise of traffic simply stops: Fes el-Bali, the oldest medina in the world that is still fully lived in, over 9,000 pedestrian alleys where goods still travel by donkey.
This 3-day tour links Tangier, Chefchaouen and Fez in a private Mercedes Vito, with a French- and Spanish-speaking driver who meets you at the airport (TNG) or Tangier's port. Chefchaouen lies on the road to Fez: you stay the night instead of just driving through, and the journey splits into two short legs.

Tangier in the morning, Chefchaouen at sunset
Personal welcome at Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG) or Tangier's port if you arrive by ferry from Spain, with our Mercedes Vito driver. In the morning a guide takes you through Tangier's medina and Kasbah, facing the strait where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. After lunch, about 2 hours on the road through the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen. Check in within the blue medina, then an easy walk up to the Spanish Mosque to watch the town light up at sunset.

The blue city at dawn, then on to Fez
Early in the morning, before the day visitors arrive, Chefchaouen's blue alleys are yours: Outa el-Hammam square, the Kasbah, the Ras el-Maa spring where the water runs down from the mountain. Late morning, departure in a private Vito to Fez (about 3.5 hours on the road, stops possible along the way). Check in at your hotel or riad, then a first stroll towards Bab Boujloud in the late afternoon, when the light slips over the blue gate. The medina is entirely pedestrian: bring comfortable shoes.

Fes el-Bali: tanneries, souks and living memory
A local guide leads you through the maze of Fes el-Bali (UNESCO): the surroundings of Al Quaraouiyine University, founded in 859, the open-air tanneries, the leather, copper and ceramics souks where every craftsman has a story to tell. Return to Tangier at the end of the day, with a direct transfer to the airport or port if your flight or ferry is that evening, or a transfer to Fez airport if your trip ends here.
