Transfer Tangier → Fez & first discovery
Early departure in a private Vito (about 4 hours, with a stop possible along the way). Check-in at the hotel, afternoon for a first glimpse of the Fez medina — Bab Boujloud, the iconic blue gate. Good to know: the medina is entirely pedestrian, so comfortable shoes are a must.

Full day in Fez & return to Tangier
Guided day in the UNESCO-listed Fez el-Bali medina — Al Quaraouiyine University (founded in 859, one of the oldest universities in the world still in operation), traditional open-air tanneries, craft souks (leather, copper, ceramics). A local guide keeps you from getting lost in the maze of alleys and makes it easier to interact with the artisans. Return to Tangier in the evening, with a direct transfer to the airport or port if your flight or ferry is that same evening — or a transfer to Fez airport if your trip ends here.
